The disobedient leper

The disobedient leper (Mk 1:40-45)

The leper had the faith in Jesus to be cleasned and he was, because the Lord was moved with compassion.

Yet, when he was cleansed, he did not obey the instructions to show himself to the priests and offer an offering as a testimony to the priests.

Instead, he went and proclaimed the matter freely, which he was told not to, causing Jesus not to be able to openly enter the city. 

Only things done in God's way will bring glory to His name!
