That which Heaven Treasures



This is a song which has touched me many years ago, and when listening to it recently, it touched my heart again. Touched by the very fact that even though i may feel ashamed to see my Lord on the day of judgment for the many mistakes and sins committed, yet His promise is that they will be forgiven and forgotten. 

The Lord is indeed faithful and true. May He give grace to all who love His appearing, so that we can run our best in this last lap here and be able to stand before Him unashamed, giving account of all that what we've done! I really hope to hear those words coming out from His mouth, "Well done! Good and faithful servant!" Recently the Lord showed me 3 times the verse from 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith". I'm just wondering if I could say that when I see Him. Certainly, it's really my desire to be able to echo them on that great day. And let it not be mine alone, but also that of all my dear brothers and sisters in Christ!
