Progression of Intensity in God's Judgment

The seven seals
- natural disasters and conflicts of man
- one quarter attacked and died 

The seven trumpets
- more intensed natural disasters
- one third attached and died
- satanic creatures torturing men

Rev 8:13 Mark the spike in intensity of the 3 woes, which attack directly on men via torments and plagues (5th, 6th and 7th trumpet)

The seven bowls
- direct attacks on those who remain and worshipped the beast
